ESTW cable trenching works, new Track 5 construction including OLA, track and turnout renewal in Schönefeld

Summary

The tender concerns the Schönefeld railway complex construction works for 2027/2028, consisting of the new ESTW-Schönefeld installation (BFHS), the construction of a new Track 5, and renewal of tracks and turnouts in Schönefeld. The works are divided into three lots: Lot 1: superstructure and cable trenching; Lot 2: ESTW equipment technology and Track 5; Lot 3: OLA. The ESTW Schönefeld is a prerequisite for ETCS equipment in the Erkner-Seddin corridor; however ETCS equipment is not part of this project. Track 5 will be reconstructed, including eight turnouts and about 2.5 km of track renewed.
