Foil coating line for lithium-ion batteries

Summary

RWTH Aachen University is procuring one foil coating and drying line for lithium-ion battery electrodes, for delivery to its Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components facility in Aachen. The line is to process anode and cathode slurries and coat both sides of copper and aluminium foil; no lots are planned. The scope includes transport, installation, commissioning, testing, training and documentation, with a maximum total price of €1,150,000 including VAT and ancillary costs. Optional equipment is also listed, including roll-handling, slurry-filtration, measurement and inspection systems, a 24-month maintenance contract, drying-air conditioning and NMP-solvent capability.
