Major refurbishment of the Weser Weir at Drakenburg and replacement of the boat passage

Summary

The Federal Waterways Engineering and Construction Office in Hannover is procuring the demolition of the existing boat passage at the Drakenburg weir on the Weser and construction of a replacement boat slide. The works include technical and construction planning, cofferdams and excavations upstream and downstream, partial demolition, earthworks, a new concrete track slab and track, and protection of the riverbed and banks with rock. Diving work and disposal of construction materials are also included.
