CNC milling robot cell

Summary

Fraunhofer IWU is procuring one CNC milling robot cell for research, development and testing of machining and manufacturing strategies. The cell is to include a six-axis articulated robot, control and safety systems, an enclosure, tool-changing and workpiece-measurement equipment, and a digital twin with simulation functions. The scope also covers commissioning, acceptance, documentation, training and two years of maintenance, with an option to extend maintenance by one year. Optional items include a rotary union for internal tool cooling and a Renishaw OMP40-2 probe.
