Specialist Planning for Science Teaching Rooms

Summary

Landkreis Friesland is seeking specialist planning services for the science teaching rooms at IGS Friesland Süd, which is to be consolidated at the Kronshausen site from two existing locations. The school will remain in operation during construction, which will be carried out in several phases. The secondary-level project includes six teaching rooms, each designed for 30 pupils and one teacher: two biology rooms, two chemistry rooms, two physics rooms, and a central collection room. The district’s climate objectives must be taken into account. The work covers technical equipment planning under Part 4, Section 2, equipment group 7, Sections 53–56 of HOAI 2021, for service phases 1–9. Additional services must be priced separately for each commissioning stage: surveying and assessing existing equipment; preparing and updating a room and equipment schedule; holding three user-needs workshops; coordinating a sample solution; planning and supporting the procurement of loose teaching and laboratory equipment; and assisting with construction phasing, relocations and temporary arrangements. The core service includes complete specialist planning for the rooms and central collection, utility provision (excluding ceiling-mounted media systems), fume cupboards and safety equipment, as well as coordination with building design, heating, ventilation and plumbing, electrical, fire-safety and structural disciplines. The consultant must provide reviewable plans, connection and equipment lists, cost documents under DIN 276, tender specifications, and acceptance and as-built documentation in the specified editable formats.
