Reception and recycling of waste wood

Summary

The tender concerns the reception and recycling of waste wood for the Entsorgungsbetriebe der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden (ELW). Under the contract, the contractor will take over and process wood waste in the categories A I (unprocessed), A III (processed) and A IV (contaminated) at the contractor’s facility, with estimated annual volumes of about 110 Mg A I, 2,900 Mg A III and 1,000 Mg A IV. Volumes may vary during the contract period. The contract runs from 01 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with an option to extend once by one year to 31 December 2029. Price evaluation is based on LV 2.1, with BEHG CO2 charges to be agreed; transport costs are calculated at 2.80 EUR per kilometer between ELW’s location and the takeover site. The bidder must demonstrate qualification and compliance (KrWG, BImSchG, EfB), provide evidence of registration, taxes and social security, insurance, and relevant references. The tender follows an open procurement procedure under VgV; the award will go to the economically most advantageous offer considering monetary and non-monetary criteria (price and references).
