Summary

The tender concerns the conversion of 161 DT5 subway vehicles so that passenger-compartment fresh-air supply is regulated according to carbon dioxide levels. Each vehicle will receive three CO2 sensors, associated modules, cabling and electrical connections. The work will be carried out at Hamburger Hochbahn AG’s Barmbek main workshop in Hamburg. The contractor must document the initial condition, perform the conversion in accordance with the technical documentation, clean the vehicle, carry out and document acceptance tests, participate in the final acceptance and remedy any defects. The contractor must provide suitable staffing to convert two vehicles per week, including acceptance and vehicle changes, during Monday-to-Friday working hours from 06:15 to 22:00. The contracting authority supplies the main conversion materials; the contractor supplies consumables, tools, machinery and equipment. All mandatory technical requirements must be met. The bid deadline is 7 October 2026 at 12:00, submission is electronic, and German is the bid language. Total price is the only award criterion and represents 100% of the evaluation.
