Mentoring Programme for The Materials Lab Incubator (2027/2028)

Summary

The contract is for a mentoring, coaching and entrepreneurship-education programme for four cohorts of science and deep-tech start-ups in RWTH Aachen’s MerLIn incubator, running from January 2027 to December 2028 and covering up to 26 teams. The work includes building and matching a mentor network, at least 50 hours of individual mentoring per team, planning and delivering four group events, providing a needs-led entrepreneurship curriculum, and documenting activities and progress. Events must also enable learning across cohorts. At least 75% must be held in person, including at least two in Aachen and one at a German start-up hub meeting the tender’s distance and start-up-density requirements. The bidder must meet the specified experience, education and language requirements for the company, three project-team members and eight mentors, and submit the required references, CVs and programme concept. The total net bid, including all ancillary costs, must not exceed EUR 349,579.88, equivalent to EUR 13,445.38 per team. The submission deadline is 13 November 2026 at 11:00. Only a bid for the complete contract is permitted; lots and alternative bids are not allowed.
