180 teaching microscopes

Summary

The University Medical Center Halle (Saale) AöR plans to procure a digital microscopy total solution for university teaching, practical training and course operations. The contract covers delivery, installation, commissioning, training and service/support for 180 microscopes, including the setup of 142 student digital microscope workstations. Deliveries will take place in two stages in 2026 and 2027. The solution includes high-quality microscope systems with integrated digital imaging, central administration and teaching functionality, and the ability to display microscope images on students' devices. The systems must be suitable for intensive university teaching, modular and available in the long term. In addition, a scalable network and software solution for operating 142 workstations must be provided.
