FFH species monitoring 2027 in Saarland

Summary

The Saarland Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Mobility, Agriculture and Consumer Protection is procuring 2027 monitoring of two species under the Habitats Directive, divided into two lots: wildcat (Felis silvestris), one sampling unit, and smooth snake (Coronella austriaca), one sampling unit. The work includes assessing population size, habitat quality and impacts, mapping current and potential habitats, and producing maps, data tables and a written report. The smooth snake lot includes 10 site visits; all work must be completed by 30 October 2027.
