Hazardous-material remediation of the SG2 flat-roof section

Summary

EWN Entsorgungswerk für Nuklearanlagen GmbH is procuring hazardous-material removal works on the flat-roof section of Special Building North II at its Rubenow site. The work covers the remaining asbestos-containing joint sealants and insulating felt on an approximately 2,070 m² roof, as well as removal of the metal parapet coverings and their timber substructure, except where the parapet adjoins the higher building section. The works also include planning the site setup, a safe new access route to the work area and outdoor staging of waste.
