Developing a framework for beneficial ownership disclosure in Mauritania

Summary

GIZ is seeking consultancy services in Mauritania to assess the legal, institutional, technical and operational arrangements for collecting, verifying, updating, retaining and publishing beneficial-ownership information, particularly in the extractive sectors. The work covers 17 work areas, from legal and institutional reviews to risk-based verification, a systematic disclosure and register model, a draft decree and practical implementation tools. Deliverables include diagnostic reports, the draft decree, operational tools and materials for a final validation workshop; deliverables are to be provided in French. No separate procurement lots are specified.
