Forest Stand Tending 2027

Summary

The State Enterprise Sachsenforst is procuring selective tending of young growth and young forest stands across four forest districts: Hirschsprung, Karsdorf, Hetzdorf and Lehnmühle. The work covers approximately 44.3 hectares in total and aims to improve individual tree stability and regulate species mix, including tending conifer- and broadleaf-dominated stands. Work is manual or motor-manual, using tools such as hand saws and chainsaws, with the method determined by the district forester.
