Flood protection works in Lünen-Niederaden – tree felling and vegetation clearance

Summary

Lippeverband is procuring tree felling and vegetation-clearance works in Lünen-Niederaden to prepare for the expansion of two flood-retention basins and a retention pond. The works include felling trees, removing shrubs and other vegetation, cutting back branches to provide clearance, and associated site preparation and reinstatement at HRB Lünen-Lüserbach, RRB Lünen-Niederaden and the retention pond. Work is restricted to 1 October–28 February and is intended to take place primarily in the 2026/2027 vegetation-clearance period, with any outstanding work carried out in 2027/2028.
