Accessible reconstruction of bus stops in Issum in 2027

Summary

The municipality of Issum is procuring the reconstruction of five bus stops in Sevelen and Oermten to make them accessible: Nieukerker Straße, Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule and Sevelen Kreisbahnhof in Sevelen, and Oermten Bahnhof and Oermten in Oermten. The works include installing bus kerbs with a 16 cm boarding height and tactile guidance systems, renewing affected paving, slabs, kerbs and channels, adjusting utility covers and adding or relocating street furniture. The works are to be completed by 31 August 2027, with a maximum active construction period of five months. The contract covers all five stops as one package, without lots.
