Plauen-West Drinking Water Main, Phase 2: Replacement of the Drinking Water Pipeline Network

Summary

The Vogtland Water and Wastewater Association is procuring construction of the Plauen-West drinking water transmission pipeline, phase 2, in Rodersdorf. The works include approximately 2,650 m of PE drinking water pipeline installed by guided horizontal drilling, associated fittings and valves, four connections to the existing network, removal of approximately 50 m of existing pipe, and provision of an approximately 300 m temporary line if needed. The contract also covers site and earthworks, pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, commissioning, and reinstatement of affected roads, paths and green areas. Works are scheduled from 1 February to 29 October 2027; the contract is not divided into lots.
