Study of the effects of a 30 km/h speed limit at night on main roads

Summary

Stuttgart’s Office for Environmental Protection is commissioning studies on the effects of a 30 km/h speed limit at night on main roads. The work is divided into five lots covering Botnang, Mühlhausen, Münster, Plieningen and Birkach, and Wangen and Kaltental. Each study includes traffic and speed measurements, traffic and noise analyses, assessment of traffic flow, traffic diversion, public transport and air pollution, scenario evaluation, and a final report; prioritisation recommendations, meetings and presentations are also included where required.
