Development of a Sustainable and Scalable Business Model for Agricultural Cold Storage Systems in Indonesia

Summary

GIZ is procuring advisory and implementation services to develop a sustainable, scalable business model for agricultural cold-storage systems in Indonesia, centred on the solar-powered pilot facility in Bogor. The work comprises four packages: a business model and replication framework; deployment of an open-source digital cold-storage management system; stakeholder engagement and capacity building; and financing and partnership development. The digital system is to support inventory, remote temperature, revenue and occupancy monitoring, performance reporting and data-driven decisions.
