Retrieval of library materials for disposal – Magazine Management, Phase 1

Summary

The Central and Regional Library Berlin is procuring a framework agreement for the first phase of its magazine-management project: checking, retrieving and disposing of approximately 135,000 library items from a collection of around 30,000 linear metres at its external magazine in Berlin-Moabit. The items include books, CDs, DVDs, videos and other media; the work also includes deleting item records from the library system, logistical support, statistical reporting and returning the processed lists. The agreement has a minimum call-off quantity of 100,000 items and a maximum of 140,000, runs until 31 May 2027 and is not divided into lots; the library supplies the disposal containers.
