Modular hydrogen research and demonstration plant

Summary

Fraunhofer IAO is procuring one compact, modular hydrogen research and demonstration plant for the Hydrogen Lab at the Stuttgart Climate Tech Hub. The system will produce hydrogen by electrolysis, store it and convert it back into electricity using a fuel cell, with battery storage, power electronics, control and safety systems, and measurement and data interfaces. The contract includes detailed planning, delivery, installation and integration in the client-provided laboratory container in Stuttgart, commissioning, trial operation, user instruction, documentation and warranty services.
