Renewal of the drinking water network in Östliches Eichwerder

Summary

WAV “Panke/Finow”, through Stadtwerke Bernau GmbH, is procuring the renewal of the drinking-water network in the Östliches Eichwerder residential area in Bernau bei Berlin. The works include installing 1,431 m of PE-HD pipe with a diameter of 110 mm and 235 m with a diameter of 90 mm, decommissioning 1,666 m of existing asbestos-cement pipe, renewing or installing 83 household connections, connecting to the existing network at 19 points, and providing 13 firefighting-water draw-off points. The work also includes associated excavation, pipe-laying and surface reinstatement.
