Supply of a virtualization server ready for GPU expansion

Summary

The University of Rostock is procuring a fully assembled dual-CPU rack server for use as a Proxmox VE virtualization host. The initial delivery will not include GPUs, but the server must be equipped for later simultaneous operation of eight air-cooled PCIe GPUs rated at up to 600 W each, including the required power, cooling and mounting components. The supply also includes processors, memory, data and boot SSDs, network interfaces, assembly and documentation; delivery is to the University’s Institute of Microelectronics and Data Technology in Rostock.
