Road Survey and Condition Assessment 2026

Summary

The City of Papenburg is procuring a 2026 survey and condition assessment of its road infrastructure to support ongoing maintenance planning and the general drainage plan. The work includes photographing and mapping the municipal road network, assessing roads and other traffic areas, recording road assets and drainage infrastructure, and preparing a maintenance management system with forecasts and prioritised measures for 2026–2036. The stated scope includes approximately 315 km of municipal roads, 30 km of classified roads for mapping ancillary areas, 200 km of drainage facilities and 10,000 drainage inlets. Results will be delivered digitally for use in QGIS, together with a road-condition map and image-viewing tools.
