Cable trench for a fixed standby power system

Summary

The contract covers construction of a cable trench and external cabling to connect a fixed standby power system at the correctional facility in Neumünster. The works include, among other things, partial removal and reinstatement of paved surfaces, excavation and removal of soil, protection of existing underground services, installation of cable-protection ducts and cables, and reinstatement of the site. The listed works include, for example, 300 m³ of excavation and installation of 1,000 m of medium-voltage cable, as well as low-voltage, control, telecommunications and fibre-optic cables. Work must comply with the correctional facility’s strict access and security rules. The planned start date is 1 February 2027 and completion is due by 26 March 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically in German with the priced bill of quantities and required forms; price is the sole award criterion. A 15% evaluation bonus applies to workshops for people with disabilities. The bidder must demonstrate suitability either through the construction-company prequalification register or by submitting a completed suitability self-declaration and the required evidence.
