Tender detail
High-current electrical and telecommunications installations
Summary
The tender covers the installation of high-current electrical and telecommunications systems in the replacement buildings of Gustav-Heinemann School at Waldsassener Str. 62 in Berlin. The school complex consists of two two-storey and four single-storey lightweight buildings with a total floor area of 22,823 m². The work includes a partially protected building alarm system with a control unit and five interconnected sub-units, a voice alarm system with eight interconnected control units, emergency lighting and illuminated evacuation signs for required corridors and stairwells. It also includes the necessary cabling, electrical connections for equipment installed as part of the building works, replacement lighting in classrooms and corridors, and expansion of the IT network with a fibre-optic backbone. Work is scheduled to start on 4 January 2027 and finish on 31 May 2027. This is a restricted procedure: companies first submit applications to participate, and three to five applicants will then be invited to bid. The application must be submitted electronically in text form by 14 October 2026 at 10:00. Applicants must provide qualification information and required evidence, together with a consortium declaration and a schedule of subcontracted work where applicable. The notice states baseline requirements of at least €1.5 million in turnover over the last three years, four comparable references, and at least 10 electrical installers and two technical management staff. In addition, applications are ranked using four equally weighted award criteria: comparable turnover, comparable work carried out in the last five years, workforce size, and the number of electrical installers permanently available for the work. The stated minimum thresholds for these ranking criteria are €15 million in turnover, five references, 15 electrical installers and three technical management staff, and 10 permanently available electrical installers, respectively.
