Resurfacing the K 44 and K 47 between Kimmlerhof, Hentern and Baldringen

Summary

The tender covers resurfacing sections of the K 44 between Kimmlerhof and Hentern and the K 47 between Hentern and Baldringen, together with related drainage, earthworks, traffic management and landscaping. The works include resurfacing approximately 2.623 km of road. On part of the route, a new asphalt pavement will be built over the existing surface, including a 10.5 cm asphalt base course and a 3.5 cm wearing course; elsewhere, the existing surface will be milled and a new wearing course laid. The works also include renewing culvert pipes and approximately 470 m of drainage pipe, installing a stormwater retention tank on the K 47 and constructing a cast-in-place concrete kerb and channel. Other tasks include restoring verges and roadside ditches, traffic management, unexploded-ordnance surveys, and exposing and reinstating the excavation around a defective control cable on the K 47; the utility company will repair the cable. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 21 October 2026 at 11:00. Price is the sole award criterion. The contract is not divided into lots and alternative bids are not permitted, although multiple main bids are allowed. Bidders must demonstrate suitability through a prequalification entry or the required suitability declaration and submit the completed bid letter, priced bill of quantities and applicable declarations.
