Sewer rehabilitation in Steinbach – Am Hühnerteich and Am Geisbaum

The City of Ottweiler is procuring sewer rehabilitation in Steinbach on Am Hühnerteich and Am Geisbaum. The works cover approximately 424 metres of sewer in ten sections, in DN 300–400 pipes, mainly using cured-in-place lining. They also include sewer cleaning and CCTV inspections, robotic removal of obstructions, opening service connections and making the rehabilitated connections watertight, manhole connections, flow diversion and traffic management. Quality control, testing and documentation of the works are also required. Tenders must be submitted electronically through the procurement platform by 21 October 2026 at 14:00. Price is the sole award criterion; bids for individual lots and variant bids are not permitted, although multiple main bids are allowed. Work is scheduled to start on 23 November 2026 and must be completed by 12 February 2027 or within 60 working days of the applicable start date. The tender must include a list of comparable projects completed since 2013 and the required RAL-GZ 961 qualification evidence. It must also include a description of the work method, details of the proposed materials and evidence of their suitability, as well as the forms specified in the tender documents. The person responsible for the work on site must have an adequate command of German, and personnel must have technical expertise appropriate to the method used.
