Geotechnical investigations

Summary

The procurement covers geotechnical investigations for renewal of the D746 carriageway between the Feuchtwangen-West interchange and the Bavaria–Baden-Württemberg border, from kilometre 745.465 to kilometre 755.895, in both directions. Work must start no later than 14 November 2026 and be completed by 31 March 2027. The bid must include the offer form, a declaration of suitability or, where applicable, the European Single Procurement Document, the priced bill of quantities, and an X84 or D84 file. The work must comply with requirements for geotechnical investigations, staff qualifications, measurements and documentation. Qualification evidence must meet DIN EN ISO 22475-1 and be no more than seven years old; a DVGW W120-1 certificate is also required. The contracting authority may also request evidence concerning previous projects, staff, drilling equipment and responsible personnel. During performance, the contractor must, among other things, provide compliant weighing records to substantiate quantities and prepare a construction schedule. A performance security of 5% of the contract sum is required; no security for defects claims is required. If the estimated contract value is at least EUR 50,000 excluding VAT, the tariff-loyalty terms apply: workers must receive the applicable pay and working conditions, and these obligations must also be passed on to subcontractors and labour providers.
