Summary

The procurement is for the supply of school furniture: height-adjustable student double desks and chairs, teacher desks and swivel chairs. The base quantities are 260 student double desks, 520 student chairs, 20 teacher desks and 20 teacher chairs. Delivery is to five German municipalities: Bielefeld, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Heidelberg, Leipzig and Obertshausen; exact addresses will be provided after contract award. The contract allows optional orders of up to 130 additional desks, 260 student chairs, 10 teacher desks and 10 teacher chairs, but the buyer is not required to order them. Ukraine is identified as the destination country in the documents. Bidders must offer school furniture with the specified dimensions and features and provide the manufacturer and model for each item, unit and total prices, technical data sheets and images. Wood must be certified to FSC, PEFC or an equivalent standard, and chairs rated for at least 100 kg must be supported by a manufacturer’s data sheet or test report. The offer must also state packaging and transport costs, delivery lead time, and customs tariff numbers and descriptions in German and English. Delivery is DDP (Incoterms 2020) to the named German municipalities. Payment is 100% in advance against an acceptable bank guarantee. Offers must comply with the technical, language, delivery and payment requirements in the tender documents; alternative offers are not permitted.
