Conversion of Nieder-Olm street lighting to LED, 2026

Summary

The procurement covers the conversion of Nieder-Olm’s street lighting to LED technology under a KIPKI project. It includes the supply of 154 new luminaires: 12 technical P4-class luminaires, 102 technical M5-class luminaires and 40 decorative P4-class post-top luminaires. The contractor must remove and properly dispose of the existing luminaires, lamps and cables, install and connect the new LED luminaires, test their operation and provide handover and completion documentation. Work will take place on existing poles while traffic remains in operation. The bid must include the required certificates, lighting calculations and product information, as well as declarations for a manufacturer’s warranty of at least 10 years and defect-remediation follow-up for at least 5 years.
