Disposal of sewage sludge from the Bredereiche wastewater treatment plant drying bed

Summary

The tender concerns the removal, transport and lawful disposal of approximately 1,300 m³ of dried sewage sludge from the sludge drying bed at the Bredereiche wastewater treatment plant. The work also includes preparatory and reinstatement tasks: opening and rebuilding masonry, protecting the drainage pipe and basin liner, obtaining the required waste-management permit and, if necessary, carrying out soil investigations, removing the sludge and restoring the site. The sludge to be removed has approximately 25% dry matter. The final quantity will be jointly measured by the contracting authority and contractor before and after clearance, taking account of sludge left behind. The deadline for bids is 3 November 2026 at 13:00. The contract is not divided into lots, variants are not permitted, and price is the sole award criterion.
