Replacement building for the therapy and rehabilitation pool
Summary
The procurement covers the design and turnkey construction of a replacement therapy and rehabilitation pool for St. Antonius Hospital, whose former pool was destroyed in the 2021 floods. The contractor must design and deliver a fully operational, basement-level extension to the existing rehabilitation building, including the pool, changing and shower facilities, building services, utility connections and external areas. The pool is for the hospital’s rehabilitation patients; the planned total floor area is 390 m² and the pool is 1.35 m deep. The work also includes detailed and construction planning, coordination and required inspections and handover documentation. Construction must not disrupt hospital operations, and the building must be accessible and meet Efficiency House 40 requirements. The tender must include the required qualification declarations and evidence, including three references for comparable work and proof of liability insurance with cover of at least EUR 10 million. Tenders will be assessed on price and other award criteria; details are set out in the evaluation matrix. The submission deadline is 29 October 2026 at 10:00.
