Medical standby services for the Hamburg Port Anniversary 2027

Summary

The tender seeks a provider of medical standby and first-aid services for the Hamburg Port Anniversary, taking place from 6 to 9 May 2027. The work includes setting up and operating five first-aid and information stations, staffing the event with sufficient medical personnel, providing mobile patrols, establishing on-site command and maintaining a liaison with the emergency dispatch centre. The required total staffing is normally 60 people, 68 on Friday and Saturday evenings, and 38 on Sunday. In addition, at least eight small boats and one reserve boat must be available each day, each with a crew of at least three; one boat must carry a suitably qualified doctor. Ambulances and emergency medical vehicles are provided by the Hamburg Fire Brigade and are not part of this contract. The bidder must comply with Hamburg rescue-service legislation, have very good knowledge of the event area and cooperate with the water-rescue organisation. A business establishment within approximately 50 km of Hamburg is expected; if the bidder has none, it must explain in detail how it will ensure contract performance. The bid must include, among other items, an implementation plan, a reference list, proof of liability insurance, a minimum-wage declaration and the signed contract. The insurance must meet specified minimum coverage amounts. Bids are evaluated on price (80%) and the implementation plan (20%). The submission deadline is 15 October 2026 at 12:00; the deadline for questions is 8 October 2026 at 12:00. The procurement is not divided into lots, and alternative bids are not permitted.
