Expansion of the Hengstbachtal wastewater treatment plant blower station for the nitrification II basin

Summary

The tender concerns expansion of the blower station serving the nitrification II basin at the Hengstbachtal wastewater treatment plant in Dreieich. The work includes dismantling the existing blower and associated piping and electrical connections, installing a new third Sulzer turbo compressor, and connecting and commissioning the piping, instrumentation, control and automation systems. The new unit must deliver an airflow of 850–2,000 Nm³/h at a differential pressure of 600 mbar. The wastewater treatment plant must remain in operation during the works, and bidders are required to inspect the site before submitting an offer.
