Design and advertising concession for Fürth’s official gazette

Summary

The concession covers the design and preparation of the City of Fürth’s official publication, INFÜ, and the sale of advertising space in it. The work includes designing the publication using text and images supplied by the city, image editing, preparing print-ready files, proofing rounds, producing an accessible PDF for the city website and sending print data to the printer. Official notices must appear in a separately marked section without advertisements or images. INFÜ is generally published every two weeks, 22 times a year. It is 180 × 290 mm, printed in four colours, and currently has a circulation of 69,000 copies. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 and initially runs until 31 December 2027, with annual extension options up to 31 December 2030. The bid must be submitted electronically by 11:00 on 15 October 2026. Offers will be assessed against several award criteria; details are set out in a separate award-criteria document. The bidder must demonstrate the required experience: one reference for producing a municipal official publication with a regular circulation of at least 50,000 copies and publication at least monthly, plus two further references for municipal publications or similar publications with regular circulation. The offer must also include the required qualification and compliance declarations and an implementation concept of no more than 12 A4 pages.
