Mobile learning, participation and knowledge-transfer space: Information vehicle for Trier University

Summary

Trier University is procuring a single, integrated mobile information vehicle to be designed, converted, supplied and handed over ready for use. The vehicle will serve as a mobile learning, meeting, participation and knowledge-transfer space for use at schools, fairs, festivals, and events organised by associations and municipalities. The contract covers the vehicle, its special interior conversion, furniture, electrical and energy systems, presentation and audio equipment, mobile internet connectivity and exterior design. The permitted gross vehicle weight must not exceed 3.5 tonnes so it can be driven with a category B licence; the activity area must be at least 10 m², and the vehicle must be delivered ready for operation by 15 April 2027. The offer must meet every mandatory technical minimum requirement and include a space and use concept with visualisation, scaled drawings, views and a technical description. The bidder must provide the required suitability declarations and evidence, including turnover figures for 2023–2025, proof of insurance and at least one comparable project reference. Offers will be evaluated on price (40%), the space and use concept (15%), media and energy technology (15%), functionality and ease of use (15%), sustainability (5%), and service, warranty and delivery time (10%). The submission deadline is 22 October 2026 at 11:00. Offers must be submitted electronically in German. The contract is not divided into lots; consortium bids are permitted.
