Sewer works on Friedensstraße, Barbarastraße and Gartenweg in Issum-Sevelen

Summary

The contract covers sewer and related infrastructure renewal on Friedensstraße, Barbarastraße and Gartenweg in Issum-Sevelen. The works include repairing or replacing wastewater and stormwater sewers and their property connections; renewing the water main on Friedensstraße and Gartenweg; adjusting intersecting utility lines; reinstating road surfaces; and, on Gartenweg, renewing street lighting and partially redesigning the street. Small planting areas will also be constructed on Friedensstraße and Barbarastraße. The contract is awarded as one whole, without division into lots, and price is the only award criterion. The total construction period is up to 14 months, with completion required by 31 August 2028 at the latest. Bids must be submitted by 4 November 2026 at 12:00, either electronically through the tender platform or in writing; fax and email submissions are not accepted. The bid must include the completed and signed bill of quantities, the bid form, the priced exchange-format file and the suitability declaration. Bidders must provide at least three comparable references from 2021–2025 in deep construction, road construction or sewer construction, and declare their insurance and turnover information. Liability insurance must provide at least EUR 5 million cover for personal injury and EUR 3 million for other damage. Within two weeks after contract award, the highest-ranked bidder must provide evidence of social insurance contributions paid, proof of insurance and a tax exemption certificate for construction services. Alternative offers are not permitted.
