Feasibility study for restoring the northern Lower Leine floodplain
Summary
The procurement is for a feasibility study on restoring and developing the northern part of the Lower Leine floodplain. The study must assess options for reconnecting the floodplain to the river and restoring it in line with nature conservation requirements and the EU Water Framework Directive. It must also take account of the area’s different uses and stakeholders, as well as climate-related needs such as water retention. The bidder must provide the company’s turnover for the last three completed financial years, information on comparable work carried out in the last three years, available staff and registration in the relevant professional or commercial register, and evidence of the required relevant experience: at least one comparable feasibility study for flowing-water restoration or restoration planning at service phases 1–4 must have been completed or be ongoing within the last ten years. Offers must be submitted electronically through the eVergabe portal, and every line in the pricing schedule must be priced. Price is the sole award criterion; alternative offers are not permitted. The planned contract period is 2 December 2026 to 2 December 2027, and the submission deadline is 8 October 2026 at 08:45.
