Piezo positioning system
Summary
The procurement is for the purchase of one piezo positioning system for the Max Born Institute in Berlin. The supply must include a ready-to-operate system with a three-channel controller, a connecting cable at least 2 m long, and an individual measurement report covering calibrated closed-loop travel, linearity, bidirectional repeatability, position noise, and tracking error. The system will precisely position a sample along the X, Y, and Z axes for a magneto-optical Kerr microscope; all materials used in the system must be non-ferromagnetic. Minimum requirements include calibrated travel of at least 80 µm on each axis, maximum external dimensions of 120 × 120 × 80 mm, a payload of at least 500 g, resolution no greater than 1 nm, repeatability no greater than 10 nm, linearity error no greater than 0.1% of travel, position noise no greater than 2 nm RMS, tracking error no greater than 250 nm, and cross-talk no greater than 0.2%. The bid must confirm compliance with the minimum requirements and state the net price and delivery time; the bidder must also accept the contracting authority’s terms. Installation, integration, and commissioning are not included, and no additional components or software licences are required. Delivery under DAP terms is to Max-Born-Straße 2A, Berlin, no later than 31 December 2026. Price is the sole award criterion (100%); failure to meet the minimum requirements or acceptance conditions leads to rejection. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 12 October 2026 at 13:00.
