Annual sewer cleaning in the Kirchheimbolanden area, 2027

Summary

The procurement covers sewer cleaning in the Kirchheimbolanden area in 2027, together with emergency and special work ordered by the contracting authority. The network comprises approximately 170 km of wastewater, stormwater and combined sewers and around 3,500 manholes; the planned annual cleaning volume is about 40 km. The work includes high-pressure cleaning of pipes of various diameters and small-diameter pressure pipes, manhole cleaning, traffic safety at work sites and, when needed, special tasks such as removing obstructions and inspecting sewers. Routine cleaning is to start on 1 March and be completed by 30 November 2027 at the latest. Emergency and special work may be called out around the clock throughout the year. Work must start no later than 3 hours after a call-out, and the contractor must provide a 24/7 contact person and communication in German. Unit prices must remain fixed throughout the work period, and price is the sole award criterion. The bidder must demonstrate compliance with the RAL-GZ 961 sewer-work quality requirements for assessment group R and provide vehicle crews of at least two people, the required equipment, safety arrangements and liability insurance. The offer must include the required forms and priced bill of quantities and must be submitted in German.
