Planting works for flood protection improvements in Frankfurt (Oder), Sections 1 and 2

Summary

The contract covers landscaping works associated with improving flood protection in Frankfurt (Oder), along the riverside promenade in the sections identified in the project as sections 1 and 2. The work includes setting up and clearing the site, protecting paths, stairs and walls, supplying and planting trees, shrubs, perennials, ground-cover plants and bulbs. It also includes installing root barriers, geotextile and erosion-control matting, delivering topsoil and planting substrate, sowing grass and restoring the work areas on completion. Planting is followed by one year of completion care and three years of development care. The work includes watering, weeding, pruning, checking plants and supports, and replacing free of charge plants that fail to meet the care requirements. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 28 October 2026 at 09:00. The procurement is not divided into lots; multiple main bids and variants are not permitted.
