Waste disposal service tender

Summary

The tender concerns the provision of waste disposal services for the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Light (MPL) and the Max Planck Center for Physics and Medicine (MPZPM). The procurement is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers non-hazardous commercial waste (rest waste, paper and cardboard, mixed glass and cans, kitchen and cafeteria waste, cooking fats and oils) and other non-hazardous waste; Lot 2 covers hazardous and special waste (ADR) with collection on demand. The contract starts on 01 November 2026 and runs for at least 24 months and up to 48 months, with the possibility to extend twice by one year each. Bidder must submit evidence of minimum requirements, including certification of disposal facilities as Entsorgungsfachbetrieb under KrWG §56 in conjunction with the EfbV for the waste codes listed per Lot, and a copy of DIN ISO 9001 or an equivalent certificate; and, where applicable, bidder declarations (Eigenerklärungen Bieter) and declarations from BG/Eignungsgeber/Nachunternehmer.
