Information obligation declaration under GDPR § 13 for the collection of personal data

Summary

These notices relate to the processing of personal data in connection with participation in public procurement procedures. The responsible authority is Landesamt für Zentrale Dienste – Zentrale Vergabestelle. Personal data are processed for the purposes of a proper and lawful procurement process, including the review of applications, evaluation of bids, communication with bidders, and documentation/archive, and, where applicable, in the execution of a contract. Data processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (c) and the relevant provisions of the GWB, VGV and UVgO. Retention of data generally lasts five years, in accordance with procurement guidelines and statutory retention periods. Data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and may contact the data protection officer; for complaints, the Saarland supervisory authority can be contacted.
