TOC/TN delivery

Summary

The tender concerns the supply and on-site installation of a TOC/TN analyzer. The new device will be controlled by a PC running Windows 11, which will be provided by SB Sachsenforst. The instrument measures dissolved organic carbon (TOC) and total nitrogen (TN) in water samples in ranges of TOC 0-100 mg/L, TIC 0-20 mg/L and TN 0-20 mg/L. It includes an automatic sampler with at least 60 positions, automatic calibration, a furnace at 950°C, gas leak detection, TOC determination by the difference method (TC-TIC) and potential NPOC, TIC determination with automatic reactor replenishment, sample volumes of 200-500 µL per injection (total up to 7 mL for 3 determinations), and synthetic air as carrier gas. Data handling features include worksheet structure, in-run data processing, CSV export and archiving, with on-site installation, method setup and user training for 2-3 participants, plus removal and disposal of the existing old equipment after commissioning. Standby mode programming and the ability to insert samples during runs are supported. The delivery also includes 300 sample vessels for the automatic sampler; on-site setup and training for 2-3 participants; dismantling of the old equipment (Formacs CA17, Skalar) after commissioning.
