Cold aisle containment

Summary

The tender concerns planning, delivery, installation and commissioning of a complete Cold Aisle Containment (CAC) system in an active data center for the Central IT Service Provider of the NRW judiciary, located in Münster. The data center comprises two physically and electrically separate, fully redundant zones (N and S). The objective is a significant improvement in energy efficiency (PUE) by separating cold and warm air, preventing heat backflow, and creating defined, measurable cooling zones in both zones. The contract includes planning, delivery, installation, and commissioning; integration with the gas extinguishing system; sensor/temperature and humidity integration; comprehensive documentation; and compliance with EVB-IT and UVgO. Evaluation will be based on price (50%), mounting concept (20%), fire-safety documentation (15%), technical quality (10%), and schedule/duration (5%).
