Development of a normative framework and certification systems for clean cooking technologies

Summary

This procurement concerns the support for the Republic of the Congo in developing a national normative framework and certification systems for clean cooking technologies. The contractor will analyze the existing regulatory and institutional framework for standardization, conformity assessment and certification; develop technical proposals; facilitate multi-stakeholder consultation; draft a national normative framework and certification/testing procedures including quality assurance; build capacity and strengthen institutions; and deliver a consolidated framework and formalisation support. The work will be conducted in collaboration with ACONOQ and the Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CEO) and other stakeholders, with capacity building, training and knowledge transfer components. The contract duration is from 09 November 2026 to 31 March 2028, with remuneration set out in the price schedule; the final report is due by 31 March 2028.
