Restoration of the fibre-optic network of the Winterberg Bob and Toboggan Track

Summary

The tender covers the complete restoration and technical upgrade of the existing fibre-optic and network infrastructure at the VELTINS-EisArena. The contractor must design, supply, install and hand over a fully operational 48-fibre OS2 optical-fibre network, including two redundant ring networks and a separate audio-system ring network. The works include supplying, installing and splicing approximately 9,250 m of outdoor fibre cable; installing network cabinets, distribution panels, switches and transceivers; constructing cable trenches, protective ducts, cable routes and building entries; testing existing and new connections; commissioning; and producing complete documentation. The works will be carried out in an operating sports facility, so interruptions must be coordinated in advance and kept to the technically necessary minimum. The tender must be submitted electronically in text form by 06 October 2026 at 09:00; the tender remains binding until 30 October 2026. Price is the only award criterion. Variant tenders are permitted for the entire scope, but they must be at least equivalent and their equivalence must be demonstrated with the tender.
