CO2 Laser Engraving and Cutting System
Summary
The tender concerns the supply of a professional CO2 laser engraving and cutting system for an intensively used university workshop at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The system must support the production of prototypes, models, teaching and research materials, and student work, and must include delivery, installation, commissioning, training, software, extraction equipment and at least a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Key minimum technical requirements are at least an 80 W CO2 laser, a working area of at least 1016 × 610 mm, a processing speed of at least 4.3 m/s, acceleration of at least 50 m/s², repeatability of no more than ±0.015 mm, a programmable motorised Z-axis, and a maximum workpiece height of at least 300 mm. The system must allow expansion to a fibre laser in the same device and be designed for intensive professional continuous operation. Offers are evaluated on price at 30%, reliability, availability and service at 20%, technical capability and productivity at 25%, usability, software and suitability for educational use at 15%, and sustainability and long-term economic efficiency at 10%. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 5 October 2026 at 12:00. Delivery must be completed by 30 November 2026; alternative bids are not permitted.
