Supply of conductor rails for Hamburg S-Bahn

Summary

The tender concerns the manufacture and supply of conductor rails for the Hamburg S-Bahn. The supplier must provide HSB-profile rails meeting the technical requirements, include the material, transport and loading costs, and deliver the rails on its own railway wagons to the Maschen tariff point. The technical bills of quantities specify, among other things, a standard length of 18 m, a weight of 43.5 kg/m and project quantities ranging from 400 to 1,400 m; pricing is based on supplied metres. After unloading, the contracting authority arranges onward transport and unloading, and the wagons must be released within no more than 10 working days. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 5 October 2026 at 13:00. Price is the only award criterion. A participating company must demonstrate registration in the relevant register, membership of the competent insurance body, available technical equipment and experience with comparable conductor-rail supplies during the last five completed calendar years. The supplier must also meet the technical testing, factory acceptance, quality documentation and sustainability requirements and provide 5% performance security and 3% security for defect claims.
