Bathymetric airborne laser scanning and data classification in the Lower Rhine region

Summary

The tender covers airborne bathymetric laser scanning using a green laser and classification of the resulting data over approximately 113.2 km² along the Lower Rhine and in the Moselle estuary. The data will support morphological studies and waterway planning. Surveys must be carried out in suitable periods and under the required water-level and weather conditions, while observing specified maximum water levels. The contractor must deliver georeferenced and validated laser-scanning data corrected for refraction and processed using full-waveform methods, aerial imagery with orientation data, classified data and a final report describing the survey work, equipment used and processing methods. The work must be carried out or supervised by appropriately qualified personnel, and the project manager and deputy must be named to the contracting authority.
